Who We Are:
Zion Benton Cross Country & Distance Crew
Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Zion, Illinois, the Zion Benton Cross Country & Distance Crew is proud to represent Zion Benton Township High School (Dist. 126) in all aspects of distance running. The Zee Bees train year-round for greatness, embracing the summer heat of Endurance Camp, the challenges of fall Cross Country season, the chills of Polar Bear running over the winter, and the thrills of Track in the spring. The ZBXC/DC culture positively grows and gains momentum each day through the hard work and contributions of each member.
ZBXC/DC strives to positively represent Zion in all ways. The Distance Family is one that not only trains together but gives back to the program and community as a strong alumni group. We host the annual Bee Linked race each summer to unite our runners, alumni, and community members. ZBXC/DC is committed to excellence and furthering the positive impact of running but know that our successes are built on a strong foundation of those who ran before us. Our team history--and legacy--is continuing to evolve each day.
